Michael McClellan- 1st Reflection

Writer's picture: Michael McClellanMichael McClellan

I am very grateful for this opportunity because most of the projects I have worked on are Live production or Multi-camera production. After all, the ultimate goal is to work on a daytime syndicated talk show. I love that I get to branch out of my comfort zone and film documentary style. It’s been an incredible experience to capture The city of Berlin but, more importantly, be able to tell the story of students processing what they’re saying in the depth of German and Jewish history. My goal for the documentary as a cinematographer is to help communicate how it feels to walk and explore this land as an individual when humans were called a number.
