Human Dignity Tour

What is the Human Dignity Tour?

Asbury University Professor of Psychology, Dr. Paul Nesselroade leads his students on an annual travel summer course through various Holocaust sights in Berlin and Krakow. The experience examines the psychology behind the horrible actions that took place during World War II against the Jewish community.  This year is the introduction of the program's partnership with a journalism team who is working to cover both the past and present impact of the events.  Our team will be working to bring you news packages and written stories as we travel the sights, as well as a cumulative documentary piece to be released later this summer.

Prior to the trip students taking the summer course met a few times and read through several books to prepare them for the trip. This gave them specific insight into background history and context specifically in regards to the human behavior and mentality of the time.
